A workshop with Re-create community artists and follow up display in the Body Shop.

Make a bag or basket from household rubbish, using weaving, knitting, crotchet, knotting etc.
An opportunity to learn experiments and be creative with materials which you would otherwise throw in the bin. For people with or without craft skills.

A workshop on family history and tour of behind the scenes of Oxfordshire County Record Office. Workshop 2.30 p.m. – 4.00 pm. Bring an item of family memorabilia, Dr Katherine Bradley
(Oxford Brookes history Lecturer) will help you start exploring your family history.
4.00 p.m. – 5.00 p.m. A tour behind the scene by Oxfordshire County Archivist, Jenny Childs.

Also on view an exhibition, ‘Kapre Clothes to Keep.’ 11 costumes made by women from the Asian ethnic business service.
